The highest peak in the San Gabriel mtns of Southern California at 10,055 feet was conquered (barely) by myself and a friend the other day. Actually, mike did great, I got a minor case of altitude sickness. Of course, close to 15 miles in one day could make anyone sick, altitude or not! Regardless, it was an amazing hike and the panoramic view of Southern California at the top was incredible!
